The Thuluth Jeem.

-—————

This artwork is a tribute to the letter Jeem, which is equivalent to letter J or G in Roman alphabet. The background behind the letter Jeem is filled with a collage of lettering drills demonstrating various joint-forms in combining letter Jeem with other letters. These drills reflects the anatomic structure with rhombic dots as measuring units used in studying classical Arabic calligraphy.

Calligraphed in Arabic Thuluth script, the letter Jeem is known as the king of letters in the Arabic alphabet.
